In the apartments there is a main water valve. The cabinet containing this equipment is usually located in the laundry room or in the hallway. It is important that this is tested annually. The valve with blue lever is for cold water, the red for hot water. In the event of a water leak, both must be closed.

At the bottom of the cabinet there are valves for underfloor heating and the convector in the living room. These should also be tested annually.

Remaining equipment in the cabinet should only be handled by professionals.
